Plan now to attend the 2020 NAD+ Brain Restoration Summit
at the Westin New Orleans, Nov. 19-22, 2020
Springfield, LA—Springfield Wellness Center, originator and producer of intravenous BR+NAD protocols for the treatment of addiction, alcoholism, stress, and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, is pleased to present the 2020 NAD+Brain Restoration Summit at the Westin New Orleans, Nov. 19-21.
A gathering of international researchers, physicians, and mental health practitioners, the NAD+ Brain Restoration Summit is designed to present the latest research on the proven and potential applications of NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) in treating a wide range of illnesses and conditions—from addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma, to a host of degenerative diseases, including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and others associated with aging.
“The global COVID-19 pandemic has only increased the need for and interest in effective NAD treatments,” says Dr. Richard F. Mestayer, medical director of NAD Research, Inc., one of the Summit’s sponsors.
“Many in the New Orleans area are calling the pandemic a ‘global Katrina’ [after Hurricane Katrina], because of its impact on mental health. Fortunately, BR+NAD is a powerful treatment for anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress. It may play other roles in boosting the immune system and combating novel viruses like this one.”
The Summit will include presentations by Dr. Richard Mestayer, who, with his partner Paula Norris Mestayer, are the world’s leading practitioners of intravenous BR+NAD for the treatment of addiction and a host of neurodegenerative diseases. Other confirmed participants include Dr. Wei Chen, professor in the departments of radiology and biomedical engineering at the University of Minnesota; Dr. Krishna Doniparthi, director and physician at Functional Medicine of Georgia; Dr. Ross Grant, clinical associate professor in pharmacology and neuropharmacology at the University of Sydney Medical School and CEO of the Australasian Research Institute and one of the world’s foremost researchers into the role of NAD in the body; Dr. Sharon Hausman-Cohen, co-founder, chief science officer, and medical director of IntellxxDNA™; Dr. David Lefer, director of the Cardiovascular Center of Excellence and professor of pharmacology at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans;Dr. Henry Liang, board-certified anesthesiologist and ketamine specialist; Dr. Richard F. Mestayer; Dr. James Paul Watson, clinical faculty, David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA, and more.
NAD is a foundational molecule, ubiquitous in healthy cells, where it plays an essential role in many metabolic and cell regulatory processes—the full implications of which are only now being understood. The NAD+ Brain Restoration Summit will bring together leading investigators into the role of NAD in cellular functioning and its implications for a variety of degenerative diseases and conditions. Speakers will also include pioneering physicians and mental health providers who are helping patients combat addiction, depression, post-traumatic stress, and chronic and acute anxiety through intravenous administration of NAD+.
In addition to featured speakers, the NAD+ Brain Restoration Summit will include poster and case study presentations, with monetary awards for the top three. The winner will be awarded $1,000; second place $500; and third place $250, or the choice of equal value in credit for BR+NAD from Archway Apothecary, or training at BR+MD Consultants with Dr. Mestayer. All three finalists’ abstracts will be submitted for publication.
The NAD+ Brain Restoration Summit will be held at the Westin New Orleans Hotel. Located at the foot of Canal Street on the edge of the French Quarter, the Westin offers breathtaking views of the Mississippi River along with recently renovated guest rooms and suites, a new restaurant and bar, luxurious meeting spaces, and all of the Shops at Canal Place just an elevator ride away. In response to Covid-19, the hotel has implemented rigorous new hygiene and disinfection measures (in addition to their already stellar reputation for cleanliness) and has facilitated social distancing by transitioning to online check-in and check-out procedures to minimize waiting in line.
